ALOE BARBADENSIS.

The gel found in this cactus-like plant’s fat juicy fronds contain biologically active compounds including acetylated mannans, polymannans, anthraquinone, C-glycosides and various lectins to help cool, soothe, moisturise and soften the skin. It is also believed to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities having been used for more than 6000 years to treat a variety of skin ailments, including sunburn, blisters and burns. Aloe Vera facilitates the natural process of exfoliation and cell division promoting the growth of healthy skin cells.
