How To Apply Concealer

Concealer is a true makeup essential, but knowing exactly where to apply it isn't always straightforward. With so many conflicting techniques and tips, it's easy to feel confused. Our makeup artist Marina cuts through the noise with a simple, universally flattering placement and technique for a lifted, fresh and beautifully well-rested look.

Key Tips & Tricks

We break down the 4 key techniques from the video.

Just a touch

Use the wand to dab a few dots of concealer on the skin and blend. This will ensure a natural finish with no excess product.

Go for the corners

Dot the concealer at the inner corner where the eye meets the nose and shadows form. Then aim for the outer corner to vanish discolouration.

Be selective

Concealer under the eye can often crease on the delicate skin there which is prone to fine lines. Avoid applying directly to this area to avoid creasing while still looking brighter and fresher.

Blend up and out

Blend the concealer at the outer corner up towards your hairline to emphasise a 'lifted' and fresh appearance.
