This is perhaps the most nerve-wracking part, when you sweep a dark shade onto your cheek. The initial impression is extreme, but it will work out in the end!

The correct placement for your contour is the diagonal line between the corner of your mouth and the centre of your ear.

If that's not obvious, try slightly sucking in your cheeks - the indent reveals this diagonal line.

Starting half way along this line, sweep the contour stick onto the skin and outwards towards the ear.

She uses the edge of the stick, to create a slim line of contour.

Just above your contour line repeat the same diagonal line with your blush.

Keep applying more until you get to your preferred intensity.

She uses the thick end of the stick for a broad line of blush.

Now, above your blush, sweep your highlighter straight from the stick onto your cheekbone.

The goal is to get a high and smooth part of your cheek to bounce light off in a flattering way - so do aim to avoid any fine lines around the eye.

Marina uses Bare Glow Luminizer in Moonbeam, a soft highlighter stick infused with light-reflecting pigments that melts into skin for a dewy, luminous sheen.

She uses the end of the stick for a broad line of highlighter.

Our firm yet fluffy Contour Brush is perfect to blend cream cheek products, as it's small enough to be precise, but diffuse enough to blend effectively.

Marina shows us how to start blending the Contour first, with a gentle upwards patting motion. She deliberately blends upwards only, to give a lifted look.

Then she blends the Blush and Highlight, until everything is soft and diffuse, and the look is complete.
