Burnished Bronze Glow

This lightly smoky bronzed look is a lovely option for summer using golden sunkissed tones. Professional make-up artist Amy Goode shows us how it's done, using a combination of primer, concealer and powder instead of foundation to create a light, glowing finish.

Complexion Enhancer Sun Kiss £44
Sheer and hydrating serum-feel primer gives an all-over dewy bronzed finish. Great for an alternative to foundation in the warmer months, or a drop can be blended into your usual base to give it glow and tan.
Undercover Goldhoney £32
Our supple concealer melts into skin for a very natural comfortable finish. Amy uses it very lightly on areas of concern for just a touch more coverage where it's needed.
Buffing Brush £36
Amy uses the Buffing Brush to ensure the primer and concealer are really diffused and blended properly, for the most flawless and natural effect.
Secret Light Vanilla £30
Amy applies Secret Light Serum Concealer to brighten the eye area. A bit of concealer really makes the final look even more flawless, especially on camera.
Bare Bronze £44

Using the same Buffing Brush, Amy applies this creamy bronzing mousse to her contours for a naturally sculpted and tanned effect.

Choosing a creamy bronzer instead of a powder bronzer will make the skin look smoother, more flawless and more dewy. It's also a great choice over high factor SPF which can look very shiny, because it mattes down the skin and corrects the white-ish tinge.

Silk Touch Gold £44

Of course you only want glow in certain places! Too much glow on your nose, chin and forehead can look "hot and bothered".

So flex the finish according to your skin type with light and translucent Silk Touch. "Gold" subtly adds golden tones without altering the overall look.

Bare Blush Moonbeam £32
This peachy glow dew is both blusher and highlighter in this look, adding freshness and subtle vibrancy to the cheeks. The perfect partner in feel and colour to Bare Bronze.
Brow Ink Taupe £26
This waterproof ink pen is perfect for quick, easy definition. Without the chalkiness of the pencil and not needing any additional applicators, Brow Ink also stays put - great for hot days.
Luminous Cream Shadow Treacle £28
Get a bronzed smoky eye in a single step with this toffee-treacly cream shadow. Amy uses a Blending Brush to get it even and diffused but you can also cheat and use your fingertips!
Shadow Brush £26
To get the Treacle precisely along the lower lashline, fingertips just won't cut it. The flat shape of the Shadow Brush holds cream well and is perfect for this step.
Eye Glaze Rising Star £28
A fun holiday flourish to the eyes has to be the sophisticated sparkle of Eye Glaze. The non-drop moussey formula is totally foolproof to wash across the eyelid.
Intense Volume Mascara £29
Long fluffy lashes look gorgeous with the smoky eye. Go from natural to drama in a few simple strokes.
Sheer Brilliance Holland Park £28
With smoky eyes, a soft lip is best. This shimmering gold gloss is a great partner, for a sparkling, summery finishing touch.
