How To: Define Hooded Eyes
Sneak peek: it's all about the right formula, the right colour, and the right tools.
Our tried-and-tested tips for enjoying beautiful, natural eye definition, even with low-hanging lids.

1. OIL FREE EYE PREP
No need for heavy eye creams. Choose an oil-free formula like our Hydralift Eye Serum, which is packed with hydrating hyaluronic acid and Niacinimide.
When you come to wear Secret Light Serum Concealer, focus on the inner corner and undereye area to vanish shadows.
2. CHOOSE POWDER SHADOW
Cream eyeshadows are easy to use, but in the cosy conditions of hooded lids, they always slip and slide. Instead, a powder will absorb moisture and deliver long-lasting colour that won't budge.
3. GO MATTE
Matte is more flattering on uneven lids, even at the end of a long day. Our range of Matte Eye Define is perfect for the job.

4. MAKE IT A MID-TONE
Choose a mid tone that is only marginally deeper than your skin tone, so you can build and blend with no risk of panda eyes.
Suede and Pewter in the Twilight Eyeshadow Palette are good neutrals for both cool and warm undertones.

5. POSITION IT PERFECTLY
Apply the mid-toned, matte powder shadow in the "underhang" of your brow bone with a precisely domed Socket Brush.

Then blend out smoothly and easily with a clean Blending Brush.

6. LINE WITH POWDER
For deeper definition along your lashes, avoid cream liners and pencils. Instead reach for a deeper shade of powder eyeshadow and our finest Eyeliner Brush.
