A dense, domed brush that applies cream and fluid makeup seamlessly, and with minimal technique. Tightly packed vegan fibres apply gentle, even pressure to smooth and blend without streaks or cakiness. The rounded shape buffs edges effortlessly for buildable, controllable coverage. Carefully handmade in Derbyshire with a conveniently short wooden handle.

For professional results applying foundation, tinted moisturiser and cream blush or bronzer, the Buffing Brush is a makeup brush you can't live without.

How it works for you

Smooth and even application. Cream and fluid formulas
need a bit of pressure to blend well. The tightly packed vegan hairs of this brush apply gentle persistent pressure, blending it smoothly and evenly, while avoiding streaking and cakiness.

Use less product more precisely and cleanly. The Buffing Brush
resists absorbing the product it’s applying, so you need to use less. By contrast, makeup sponges can ‘drink up’ product and fingertip application can leave uneven patches as well as make a mess.

Fast, effortless blending. While flat brushes tend to paint product on, the domed design lets you work in small circular motions to fuse product it into the skin and blur any edges seamlessly – whether around the nose, under the eyes, or at the hairline. So you save time and don’t have to stress about the technique.

Buildable, controllable coverage. Because the Buffing Brush lays down thin layers, you can add and build intensity where you need it (centre of face, areas of redness, around the nose) while everything stays flawlessly even.

One brush, multiple uses. For foundation, primer, cream blush or bronzer, even cream highlighter - this is a really hard-working brush that reduces clutter in your makeup bag. It’s also short-handled for convenient storage and transport.

Handmade in Derbyshire, UK.

How to Take Care Of Your Brush

Wash weekly with mild hand soap or shampoo. Squeeze excess water without twisting the hairs out of shape. Dry flat in a warm place eg near a radiator. Do not dry with hairs up because this can lead to hairs shedding over time.

How to apply

For foundation, tinted moisturiser and primer, the best technique is to put a single pump on the back of your hand or a palette, then dip the tip of a dry, clean Buffing Brush into it. Place the product gently into the centre of the face where you will want more coverage. Buff it into your skin with small circular motions and light to medium pressure, working outward. Repeat as needed, adding more layers on areas of concern.

For cream blush or bronzer, dab the brush into the product lightly, aiming for a very small amount to adhere to the brush. If you press too hard or take too much, wipe with a tissue before applying to skin. Then tap gently onto your desired location, and buff and soften the edges until blended.
