Ingredients Policy

Product ingredients:

We aim to use only the finest and most innocuous ingredients with small quantities of preservatives only where we have to. Many are preservative and/or perfume free.

We test our products (and the few we source from others) on ourselves and volunteers. Strict vegetarians can be reassured that the vast majority of our products are suitable for them (yes, our lanolin comes from wool sheared from living sheep!)

In our sunscreens, we use broad-spectrum organic UVA/UVB absorbers at concentrations that have been safe and effective over time, and include a photo-stable mineral sun filter to enhance the UVA protection, while reducing the risk of allergy.

If you do have allergies, we recommend you contact a dermatologist for a patch test to identify the ingredient causing the problem and we can create a bespoke formulation for you without the offending ingredient.
