"In the 1970's Christina and I were working in the corporate world of Cosmetic R&D, becoming frustrated with the 'copy-cat' marketing approach to make-up. With a leap of faith, we opened a little shop in Knightsbridge where we had a lab in the basement making the make-up whilst pioneering Make-up lessons. Christina retired in 2009.

I was a spotty, pasty teenager conscious that the concealers were all the wrong colour! Perhaps it was inevitable that I should choose a career in Cosmetic Science and start making my own colours. I really enjoy making make-up and am always dreaming about new products, concepts and colours. Basically I love helping women find 'their look' and be fabulous with it! Apart from spending time with my daughter, it is the most fulfilling thing that I do."
