Diminishing collagen in the skin's supportive tissue is considered to be the main cause of the wrinkles that form as we grow older. So it follows that if skin can be stimulated to produce collagen, we should be able to reverse or at least slow down the aging process and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Micro-CollagenTM is a specially-formulated anti-wrinkle peptide, a synthetically obtained micro fragment derived from natural collagen. When applied to the skin in a cream, it penetrates the skin's surface layers, reaching the fibroblast cells-the cells responsible for producing collagen which gives skin its strength-and stimulating the natural production of connective tissue components such as collagen and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) which are part of the skin's supportive layer.

Collagen IV is especially important for repairing the epidermal-dermal junction (EDJ) that maintains skin elasticity and profile. Only minute amounts of Micro-CollagenTM are needed to obtain cellular response.
