Moisturising, skin restoring

Hydrogenated Polyisobutene is a branched chain aliphatic hydrocarbon and polymer used widely in cosmetics and personal care products. It is tolerated well by the skin making an excellent emollient and moisturiser, restoring skin suppleness and preventing water loss.

It is a waterproofing emollient used in the formulation of lipsticks, eye and facial makeup, skin care products and used to great effect in sunscreens as it allows for SPF protection even after water exposure.
