Skin and lip protection

This natural plant wax comes from the leaves of the Brazilian Wax Palm Tree. It's leaves are covered by a waxy coating which helps them tolerate drought, the drier the conditions, the more wax is produced. This wax can be used to help provide a protective barrier on the skin and lips to help them retain moisture. As the flakes are brittle with a high melting point, it ensures lipsticks do not soften in high temperatures. It is also used widely as a glazing agent and protective coating.
